The recording problem while doing pronunciation problems on Burlington is a common issue. Burlington doesn't always play nicely with Apple products, so if you are using an Apple product, the mic/pronunciation activities may not work from Safari (if it says "not supported"),try Firefox or Chrome as your browser to see if this helps solve the issue.
Also, check the audio settings to make sure the mic is working.
